In May 2005, it was reformed from General Engineering Machinery Factory of Shengli Petroleum Administrative Bureau, Sinopec Group, which was founded in 1964. Its working areas are largely distributed in Dongying city and Zibo city of Shangdong Province, and the headquarters of company lies in 203 South 1 road, Dongying district, Dongying city of Shangdong Province.

It has 1526 employees in total, among whom 33 people are awarded with senior professional titles, 145 people with medium professional titles and 625 people have college or university degrees.It is comprised of 5 branches and 6 holding subsidiaries. There are 600 devices including 18 specialized production lines and 70 testing devices. With 1600 pumping units, 100 thousand tons of tubing, 5 million meters of sucker rods, 120 thousands tons of straight-seam welding pipes, 120 thousand tons of casing, 4 million meters of composite pipes, 800 thousand pieces of fittings and 400 sets of refitted special vehicles available a year in this corporation, its output value stands at RMB 2 billion yuan.
      Over past 40 years of development, three major industries have come into being in this company, namely, petroleum machinery equipment, special purpose vehicles refit and nonmetallic pipes. The company has been determined as the petroleum equipment manufacture base and special purpose vehicles refit base of Sinopec Group, the national building material production enterprise and one of the top 30 enterprises of chemical building material in Shangdong Province. We got ISO 9001 quality system certification in 1996, had the right to use API monogram on our petroleum machinery products and obtained the Chinese compulsory certification (CCC) and Chinese military standard certification for our special purpose vehicles refitted. Our fifty-two kinds of special purpose vehicles refitted are listed in the national announcement. Our composite pipes passed the pressure pipeline safety registration.
