Founded in May 2006, Dongying Shengqing New Petroleum Technology Development Co., Ltd is a Sino-foreign joint venture with a registered capital of 7.12 million yuan. With research and development, production and operating of high-strength fiber sucker rod and special sucker rod, and engineering service of coiled tubing as main operations, it can provide three series of products including external spraying anti-corrosion sucker rod, ultra-high fiberglass sucker rod and continuous carbon fiber sucker rod and offer engineering service.
　　External spraying anti-corrosion sucker rod is designed to cope with the more and more corrosive wells in many oilfields. With its surface evenly sprayed with epoxy powder, the existing steel rod is able to effectively resist corrosion.
　　The coiled tubing engineering service is an advanced technology of well work-over and completion. With the help of coiled tubing and necessary units, it is able to offer such operations as sand washing, paraffin removal, acidizing treatment and gas lift. At present, foreign countries generally monopolize this technology. While we provide this kind of service, we are devoting ourselves to domestic substitute for this technology and equipment.
　　Ultra-high fiberglass sucker rod was succeeded in development in 2005. Compared with conventional steel sucker rod, it has many advantages, such as, high strength, anti-fatigue, corrosion resistance and being light, etc. It is the first choice to be used in deep wells and corrosive wells. There are two fully automatic production lines in our company with an annual production capacity of 100,000 meters.
　　Continuous carbon fiber sucker rod is our first project registered in the State Economic and Trade Commission and the State 863 Committee. The first industry standard of continuous carbon fiber composite sucker rod was formulated by our company and was released and put into effect by the State Economic and Trade Commission. Centering on the development of this program, we have got three national patents. Experts with science and technology department of Sinopec Corp have assessed it up to the advanced international level. I25, 000 meters of continuous carbon fiber sucker rod are available a year.
